The Interior Cup is entering it's 16th year, the tournament routinely has 20+ teams in attendance and over 500 players.
The Interior Cup started as a 3 team tourament which featured 2 teams from the Penticton Ball Hockey League and one team consisting of many Kelowna Rockets Including: Justin Pogge (AHL), Justin Kellar (AHL), Blake Comeau (NHL) and NHL All star denceman Shea Webber.
The tournament progressed to 11 teams in year two, 18 teams in year three and since year four has had between 28 teams and 30 teams from across Western Canada competing in all three divisions.

A lot of our teams are returning teams from the past few years, which says a lot about the tournament. The city of Penticton has a reputation of being a party town from it's riot days during Peachfest and May long weekend is a great weekend to party in Penticton.
This tournament is the perfect combination of great ball hockey, weather and partying, you can almost guarantee that most teams will walk away having a great weekend and many stories, hence our borrowed slogan:
"WHAT HAPPENS IN PENTICTON, STAYS IN PENTICTON!"
